About

What we do

We are licensed General Contractors providing construction services, project management and design services from start to finish. We build, with all stages in mind at all times, co-ordinating construction with architecture, engineering and interior design to conceive, manage and deliver exceptional custom homes.

Ethos

We believe that a home should be a living work of art to interact with on a daily basis. We design and build our projects to create a textured, sensory experience, marrying aesthetics to functionality in spaces that flow. We approach each project with an artist's passion with the intention of creating joy for the homeowner.

PROCESS

Building a home may be the single biggest investment that most people make, and we take the decision to do so as seriously as our clients. Honesty, integrity, organization and communication are the pillars on which we build our relationships with our clients so that we can best serve them throughout the build and after. There is no question that building your own home will give you the ultimate satisfaction, however the process has moving parts and always presents challenges. For us, the joy is in working with our clients to find find solutions that supersede their initial expectations. We do this by realistic scheduling, budgeting, allowing for contingencies to deal with unforeseen circumstances and putting ourselves in the client’s shoes. We look steps ahead to deal with any potential issues before they manifest, not only as we build but also during planning stage. As a boutique firm we take pride in the work we do and treat each job as though it was our own home, giving meticulous attention detail, showing the same flexibility and empathy to our clients as we would expect if we were the clients. We strive to build a living work of art for you to live in, that will give you, your friends and family that extra daily dose of pleasure in your lives, and we want you to enjoy the process throughout.

Addison

A modern new construction, with the exception of one post remaining from the pre-existing house, this house was designed to flow from the entry into every space creating textural and sensory experiences. The 4715 square feet actually feel bigger due to the fluid design, high ceilings, and large bedrooms. Addison is wrapped by a smooth, grey stucco trim that is a modern interpretation of a yin yang symbol – a spirit that carries through every inch of the house. Clean, architectural lines and cool concrete are balanced by the warmth of reclaimed redwood and Douglas-fir siding with European oak hardwood floors and walnut cabinetry.

EPIC ADU (Guesthouse)

This modern ADU was designed to maximize the feeling of space within the 1200 square foot ADU limit. Soaring 14 foot ceilings, open plan living/kitchen, indoor/outdoor living and considered approach to combining textures and nature create the feeling of living in a much bigger space.

Spanish Modern

This old Spanish was completely gutted, and restored with over 1000 square feet added. It was rebuilt with a transitional mediterranean aesthetic at every turn. It keeps the warmth and character of a traditional house, yet has the comfort of open flowing spaces that are the cornerstone of our design process.

Craftsman Restoration

This 1920's craftsman was lovingly restored to maintain it's vintage charm whilst updating to a modern clean look. The combinations of rustic hardwoods, pastel colors drought tolerant landscaping make this an indoor/outdoor treat.

Bluebell

This classic 30s ranch house was partially restored while the remainder was demolished and extended by new construction, tripling the square footage to 3550 square feet. Bluebell has a vintage look from the outside and opens into a huge, modern loft like space for the great room with 22-foot glass sliders leading to a pool and large backyard. The aesthetic of marrying old school with modern was carried throughout the house using reclaimed wood and anodized bronze – creating a warm and chic look.
